The Stalked audiobook drops June 16th (eek!) and I have a few ARC codes burning a hole in my pocket…
So here’s what I’m doing.
If you want one, just reply to this email with the word STALKED.
That’s it! I’ll throw every reply into a randomizer to pick the winners, and announce them next week!
And if you’re not sure if this audio is your thing…here’s one of my favorite reviews from the first book’s audio, Broken by my Bully!
“Broken By My Bully, an Audiobook by Logan Fox, the intense story of Haven, Kai, and Bastian. Kai and Haven were best friends as children. Then, she left. Now, she’s back and his anger knows no bounds.
Bastian is her professor…who has his own plans…for both Haven and Kai. He’s the conductor…of an unusual orchestral arrangement.
Sooooo good!!!!
This Audiobook was masterfully narrated by Helena Walters, Ivan Morea, and Zachary Zaba. I literally got chills and goosebumps by the performance for Bastian…whew! They ALL had fantastic performances and this story just got better and better!!”
The Calm Majesty of a Cathedral

It’s been a long time since I’ve been in church. Maybe one day I’ll write about the “religious trauma” that I’ve experienced in the past…but not today.
I do still find church buildings, cathedrals especially, to be poetically beautiful. Their architecture seems purposely built to evoke a sense of majesty, but also calm.
There’s something so pleasing about all the gentle curves and the tall vaulted columns that continuously lead your eyes upward. Again, very intentional. When you walk into one of these places, you’re compelled to look towards the heavens.
So poetic…almost manipulatively so…but that’s the trauma speaking.
I made it a point to visit both graveyards and churches in my trip to Brisbane, and I wasn’t disappointed by either. The churches were absolutely breathtaking. I can’t even imagine how long it took for each of them to be built. The details in the sconces and carvings inside these the crucifix-shaped buildings blew my mind.

Unfortunately, we were on a limited timeline, so I couldn’t stay as long as I wanted to. Otherwise, I would have probably taken a lot more photos and stayed there much longer.
One thing that really struck me, especially because we went in the middle of the day when there was no service in progress, was just how calm and quiet it was inside. You felt as if you couldn’t speak louder than a whisper because every sound echoed back to you from the voluminous ceilings. That only increased the sense of awe and made you feel even smaller under those massive arches.
An experience I’m definitely seeking out again the next time I travel!
I’m still not sure of the significance of the locks (pictured above). I’ll research them when I get a chance. They were outside the church, but close enough to make me feel that they were in some way part of the structure or had a symbolic reference.
I’ll do my best to do another write-up on the Ultra Music Festival and Comic Con I attended on the Gold Coast during my trip!
Until next time, I’ll leave you with some recommended reads for the weekend.
Love, Logan
