Harder, Deeper, Darker?
In other news, I braved the chilly night air and social anxiety to join a local quiz night! Of course I forgot to take photos, but since there was no power in the area and the pub’s generator kept dying, most of my photos would have been unusable 😅
I’m not one to complain, but now that I’ve been to a different country and seen how things could just…you know…work…I’m a little disillusioned with my home country.
Is a well lit pub for a round of quiz too much to ask?
At least the goth party I attended last week was still zinging around in my head, so I didn’t mind too much.
While some of the bands were still hit-or-miss for me, I am now officially in my goth EDM era. I love listening to dance music when I write, because it gets me into flow state like nobody’s business, but sometimes it’s a little too fluffy for my story.
Enter the grimy, grungy, dare I say demonic beats of aggrotech, EBM (Electronic Body Music), and industrial techno.
I’m still exploring this sub-genre, but I think a few tracks might pop up in new book playlists…

I know you guys love it when I take three massive books to get to the damn HEA, but this time, I’m doing things a little differently.
These books will each feature one couple per book (whether that be M/F, MFM, etc) with a larger story threading through the entire series.
That’s it! I’ll share more as soon as I can, but I hope that’s enough to keep you invested. As with the Lessons in Cruelty series, it’ll be well worth the wait…
