It’s Magic!
I’ve gotten bitten by a new bug, and it’s magic!
Well, technically, it’s “Magic: the Gathering”…but either way, I’m obsessed.
I still have no idea what the hell I’m doing, but I’ve never had this much fun being clueless before in my life, so I’m hoping that’s a good sign.
And because I don’t ever do things the easy way, I jumped into the deep end learning to play the commander style of MTG before I even knew what a Land Card was or how to block/attack.
Truthfully, I’m still not 100% sure about anything in this game, but it has my #2 Learner Clifton Strength strung out in the best way.

WIP UPDATE
Yes, I’m still working on my new series.
Yes, progress has been slow, but it’s been PHENOMENAL.
My last message was a little dour. I was upset that I had missed a massive plot hole in my first version of my new series, and had to go back to the drawing board.
Well, I’m not depressed anymore. I’m absolutely STOKED! The new version of the plot is so much better. Before, I was trying to build a puzzle with missing pieces, and I didn’t even have the right lid!
Now? I’ve pretty much got the entire outline of the puzzle and I’m working my way to the middle. I’ve got the lid, I’m pretty sure at least 90% of the pieces are present and accounted for, and damn, it’s looking good!
More on that next week!
The more immersed I get in a world of wizards and vampires and dragons…the more I want to write a romantasy!
