Today, I’m trading the writing cave for Comic Con…
By the time you read this, I’ll either be on my way to Comic Con Africa or already wandering around the Johannesburg Expo Centre, trying to act normal around all the incredible cosplay.
You know how well I handle crowds, noise, and approximately seventeen thousand competing sources of dopamine, so this should go well 😅
I’m going to do my best to take photos, absorb all the glorious geekery, and avoid coming home with a brand-new expensive hobby.
No promises on that last one.

I’ve also been building a fresh batch of ads for the Lessons in Cruelty box set, which meant finding increasingly ridiculous ways to describe Kai and Bastian in a single sentence.
