Last week I asked you to share the Stalked audio snippet on social media for a chance to win Broken AND Stalked audiobook codes.
The response was absolutely unhinged. In the best possible way.
I loved seeing so many of you spreading the word — Haven, Kai, and Bastian are corrupting new readers as we speak, and honestly?
That’s the most wholesome thing I’ve ever said about this series.
Thank you to everyone who participated. You made this little indie author’s heart very full. (And slightly guilty, because I can only pick a few winners. )
Without further ado…
THE WINNERS ARE:
Karen U
Ginger A
Kyrstyn K
Terri W
Lexi D

Teaser Snippet…
I’ve been busy with advertising this week, so I haven’t had as much time as I’d hoped to do marketing for my new series.
But I did promise a little something…and here it is. A snippet from one of the first chapters of the new book I’m working on.
In case you missed last week’s announcement:
This book is Eliza’s.
I know you’ve been waiting for it for years, and the time has finally come.
I’m ready. She’s ready.
Are you?
ELIZA
I slip around the trunk of a tree, pausing just long enough to hold my breath. It’s instinct—there’s no way the Hunter can hear me moving through the forest when his horse’s hooves are loud enough to raise the dead.
The Hunters don’t need to hear me. They can see me just fine.
As soon as the Hunter thunders past, I duck down and scoop up a handful of damp leaves.
“Really?” I mutter.
It doesn’t help. The glow-in-the-dark paint slathered over my bare arms is doing a spectacular job. I might as well be dangling from a Christmas tree.
I never realized how fucking rigged this game was.
Would it have mattered? Probably not. It makes me furious that the odds are stacked against us girls like this.
But I didn’t leave this to chance.
I came prepared to win.
At any cost.
I give my glowing arms another hard scrub with the mulchy leaves.
“Motherfucker!”
I flick the wet mess out of my hand with a grimace. I literally have a neon target on my back.
I shrug my shoulders, scanning the fog-wreathed trees. There’s a sliver of a moon out that barely manages to fight its way through the canopy. But there’s enough light that I can pick out the path where the Hunter went past.
Idiot.
Probably as drunk and stoned as everyone else.
They forced me to drink some godawful punch that tasted worse than it looked. Punch is supposed to be being sickly sweet—this could as well have been swamp water. There were fucking leaves and shit in it!
I grimace again, gathering the saliva that rushes into my mouth at the memory and spitting it out.
A twig snaps somewhere behind me.
I spin around, freezing as I drag a mitten over my mouth.
The fuck was that?
I beg my heart to quit its frantic pounding, standing stock-still as I strain to listen. When an owl hoots a few feet away, I will it to spontaneously combust.
The sound could have been an animal. But that galloping Hunter surely chased away anything small and furry in a ten mile radius.
Also…I’m starting to think I’m imagining things. More specifically, hallucinating them.
I didn’t have a lot of that awful punch, but I have this sneaking suspicion it tasted like shit because of all the chemicals in there.
As in, I think I’ve been drugged.
I think it’s starting to kick in.
And I think—no, I know—if I don’t get to the finish line soon, I’m going to be stuck out here in the Devilknock Woods, freezing as I slowly lose my mind…in the fucking dark.
